PET Acoustic Panels: Unleash the Power of Sustainable Acoustics

Imagine removing all plastics from the ocean and landfills and restoring environmental balance. At Ezobord, our business is transformational, literally. Our manufacturing process uses natural and synthetic fiber to create PET acoustic panels that are then cut by design to meet your demand for acoustical performance.

By upcycling in this way, we’re giving you another reason to make sustainable decisions in the products that you select.

What Makes PET Acoustic Panels Better?

PET is a very energy-efficient material. Although its raw materials are derived from crude oil and natural gas, it enjoys a very favorable sustainability profile in comparison to glass, aluminum, and other materials.

The high strength of PET in comparison to its light weight is a major key to its energy efficiency. This allows for more products to be delivered in less packaging while using less fuel for transport.

Ongoing advances in light-weighting technology continue to improve its energy efficiency, and life cycle studies of PET have consistently confirmed its environmental benefits.

In the 60 years since PET was first synthesized, it has become one of the world’s most widely used, versatile, and trusted materials.

OUR COMMITMENT TO THE ENVIRONMENT

EzoBord panels are made from 100% PET fiber of which +/- 50% is derived from recycled plastic water bottles ( 3/8″ (9mm) | ± 166 PET Bottles – 1/2″ (12mm) | ± 318 PET Bottles)

The production of EzoBord is a remarkably clean process utilizing needle punch and thermo-bonding technology entirely eco friendly resulting in low energy use, no emissions, no off gassing or VOC’s, no waste water and does not require the use of any adhesives.

All scrap material is 100% recyclable and is put back into the manufacturing process to create new fiber. There is virtually no waste in producing an EzoBord panel.
