Acoustic Innovation Meets Historic Boston Charm at AIA 25
Infuse Warmth into Your Acoustics

AIA25 brought together some of the most forward-thinking minds in architecture and design, and EzoBord was proud to be right in the heart of the action. From June 4–7 in Boston, we welcomed many AEC professionals into our uniquely immersive exhibit, one that turned heads not just for what we showed, but how we showed it.
When it came time to design our booth for AIA25, we wanted to do more than just display our products; we wanted to create an experience. For the Boston edition of AIA, we transformed the INtainer, our signature modular exhibit structure into an historic Boston tavern making it a warm, inviting space that paid homage to the city’s rich architectural and cultural legacy.
Complete with wood textures, mood lighting, and a design aesthetic reminiscent of 18th-century meeting places, the booth stood out as both familiar and unexpected. It drew people in not just for its ambiance, but for the tactile, real-world context it provided for our acoustic products.
What We Showcased: Sound Solutions That Perform and Inspire

Rubik
A modular acoustic tile system, Rubik lets designers play with pattern, depth, and dimension while delivering high-performance sound absorption. With a design inspired by geometry and structure, it’s ideal for commercial spaces that want to make a visual and acoustic statement.

Canvas
Canvas brings acoustic performance together with visual storytelling. This flat panel solution is designed to act as a blank slate, ready to be printed with custom graphics, colors, or branding, all while reducing reverberation and improving the acoustics of a space. It was a hit among designers looking to combine creativity with function.
We also featured a range of other standout acoustic solutions that drew significant attention. EzoCore, our premium acoustic core material, demonstrated its versatility across multiple applications. Overhead, our Zen Grid ceiling system created striking dimensionality using acoustic beams, a perfect example of how form can meet function in open-ceiling spaces.
The entire booth was finished in our locally manufactured color palette, including Classic White, Camel, Denim, Steel Blue, Light Beige, and Charcoal Grey, reinforcing our commitment to local production, a key differentiator that resonated strongly with attendees. Visitors also took notice of our Print Carve panels which are designed to look like authentic exterior brick but made from lightweight PET; and Balsa was creatively applied to cabinet doors in the booth further enhancing acoustic performance.
Domestic Wood Prints and Color Finishes
Our signature wood print finishes were on full display and widely praised. These finishes capture the texture and warmth of real wood with the sustainability and acoustic benefits of PET-based material.
Many visitors were surprised to learn that EzoBord is primarily an acoustic solutions company. While our visual presentation often draws people in, the core of what we do is performance-driven design. The quality of our printing, particularly on PET substrates, turned heads and sparked a number of in-depth conversations about integrating acoustics into aesthetic-forward design plans.
Made in North America. Designed for Everywhere.
One of the most compelling aspects of EzoBord’s offering at AIA25 was our commitment to domestic manufacturing. We are proud to say that we are the only manufacturer of PET sheets in North America, a fact that underscores our dedication to regional sourcing, sustainability, and speed to market.
Our products are made in three U.S. regions – Arizona, Illinois, and Georgia, which means we can reduce lead times, lower carbon impact, and support local economies, all while delivering the same high-quality acoustic materials across the country.
What We Heard: The Industry is Listening
The energy at AIA25 was palpable. Attendees were on the lookout for smart solutions to real-world construction challenges, from renovations to commercial builds, material-based CEUs, and even the emerging role of AI in design workflows.
Amid this backdrop, our booth became a hub for discussion around the future of acoustic design. Many were drawn in by the booth’s aesthetic but stayed to learn more about how our products could solve the real challenges of modern architectural projects, particularly the need for sustainable, flexible, and beautiful acoustic materials.
Looking Ahead
AIA25 was more than just a showcase; it was a conversation. About what the future of design looks like, how we can build more responsibly, and how acoustics play a crucial (and often overlooked) role in occupant comfort and overall building performance.
To everyone who visited us at AIA25: thank you for the engaging conversations and fresh ideas. And to those who couldn’t make it, there’s still time to connect. We’re always happy to talk about how EzoBord can bring acoustic performance, sustainability, and design excellence to your next project.
